Experience Matters In Criminal Defense

Experience is vital when one faces criminal charges. I have represented thousands of defendants in both state and federal courts at all stages of trial. In 1997, I took the case of State v. Emmanual (aka Batman) Trotter to a jury. There were approximately 13 state “eyewitnesses” and no proof on the defense side. The jury found Mr. Trotter not guilty.

I have over 25 years of experience representing clients in federal criminal cases.

Perhaps the clearest example of how experience plays into the area of criminal law is that the trial teams of two former governors, Tennessee’s Ray Blanton and Alabama’s Guy Hunt, sought advice from me in the areas of criminal law and appellate procedure.

In addition, numerous attorneys have hired me for professional consultation in their own trials.
