I have represented clients in more than 800 appellate cases nationwide. Besides civil matters like commercial litigation and family law, I also practice criminal defense and military law. I have built a reputation as one of Tennessee’s most trusted attorneys, and I get great satisfaction giving back to the legal community. Besides serving as a part-time judge in Pleasant View Municipal Court, I have published books on municipal law and juvenile criminal law. I also teach courses for the National Judicial College to help educate fellow judges. My cases have resulted in 75 published opinions. The National Trial Lawyers organization has named me one of Tennessee’s top 100 trial attorneys in criminal defense.
